  • We keep our process simple and thoughtful to make sure each dog is matched with the right home.

    1. Application
    Complete an adoption application so we can learn more about you, your home, and what you’re looking for.

    2. Phone Conversation
    We’ll connect with you to go over your application, answer questions, and talk through the best match.

    3. Home Video
    A short video of your home helps us ensure a safe and comfortable environment.

    4. Approval
    Once approved, you’ll be added to a private group for your dog’s flight updates and arrival details.

    5. Arrival in Vancouver (YVR)
    Your dog will arrive at Vancouver International Airport, where you will meet them and bring them home.

  • You can apply by completing our application form. We carefully review each application and reach out to applicants who we feel are the best match for the dog.

  • Our adoption fee typically ranges from $725–$1000 CAD, depending on the dog.

    This helps cover veterinary care, vaccinations, spay or neuter, and travel costs to bring the dogs to Vancouver.

  • Each dog receives veterinary care prior to adoption, including a vet check, vaccinations (age appropriate), deworming, flea and tick prevention, and testing when appropriate. Dogs are spayed or neutered when age and condition allow.

    Your adoption fee also helps cover the cost of preparing and transporting your dog to Vancouver (YVR).

  • Our team is based in British Columbia, with Tara in Maple Ridge (Vancouver area) and Cassie in Kelowna. Tara travels to bring dogs back to Vancouver and also provides foster care, while Cassie provides foster care and ongoing support before and after arrival,

  • We’re a small, hands-on team that truly cares about where each dog ends up. from your first application to arrival day, we’re here to guide you, answer questions, and make sure you feel confident every step of the way. We stay involved, supportive, and committed because this matters to us.
