About Fresh Start Rescue Society

Fresh Start rescue Society is a registered nonprofit helping dogs from Mexico find loving homes in British Columbia.

We work closely with our trusted partner, Yara, in Mexico, who rescues and cares for these dogs, giving them a chance at a life long before they ever make their journey to Canada,

Many of these dogs have spent months —even years — waiting, simply because they haven’t had the chance to be seen.

Our goal is simple: to give every dog the opportunity to be seen, chosen, and finally find a home.

Based in the Lower Mainland we help connect rescued dogs with adopters across British Columbia.
